The man in the blue boxer briefs walks into the room and everyone’s eyes are glued to him. He confidently strides up to the podium and begins to speak.
“I am here to tell you a story,” he says. “A story about love, loss, and redemption.”
He pauses for a moment and looks out at the audience, his eyes filled with sadness. “My name is Andrew, and I was once in love with a woman named Erica.”
Andrew describes how he met Erica and how they fell in love. He tells of all the wonderful moments they shared together and how happy he was with her. But then one day, out of nowhere, she left him. Andrew was heartbroken and didn’t know what to do.
But then one day, he received a letter from Erica. She told him that she had left because she loved him too much and didn’t want to see him get hurt. She said that she would always love him and asked him to forgive her. Andrew was so happy to hear from her again that he forgave her immediately. They agreed to meet on Valentine’s Day at the park near their old house so they could talk things through.
But when Andrew arrived at the park, there was no sign of Erica. He looked around for hours but she never showed up. A feeling of dread came over him as he realized that something must have happened to her…
Andrew never saw Erica again but he still thinks about her every day. He knows that she was the love of his life and that he will never forget her.
The man in the blue boxer briefs finishes his story and there is a long silence in the room. Finally, someone in the audience speaks up.
“Thank you for sharing your story with us, Andrew. We’re all here for you.”
Everyone in the room gives Andrew a standing ovation and he leaves the stage, his head held high.
